Transportation Commission

The Transportation Commission plans and coordinates county-wide transportation infrastructure, transit services, road improvement projects, and active transportation programs. The five-member commission advises the Board of Supervisors on the county's long-range transportation plan, reviews project prioritization, and provides input on state and federal transportation funding applications. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:30 PM at the Public Works Building. The Commission also coordinates with Caltrans, regional transit agencies, and neighboring jurisdictions on cross-boundary transportation issues.
