Public Health Advisory Board
The Public Health Advisory Board advises the Board of Supervisors and the Public Health Director on community health needs, public health policies, and program priorities. The seven-member board includes healthcare professionals, community advocates, and residents with diverse health expertise. The Board reviews annual community health assessments, recommends funding priorities for federal and state health grants, and provides input on pandemic preparedness, behavioral health services, and health equity initiatives. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 2:00 PM.
