Dr. Susan Chambers

Dr. Susan Chambers chairs the Public Health Advisory Board. She is an epidemiologist and professor of public health at Cal Poly, where she directs the Community Health Research Center. Dr. Chambers holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University. She has published extensively on rural health disparities and leads the board's efforts to advise the county on pandemic preparedness, behavioral health, and health equity initiatives.
