Stephanie Cross

Stephanie Cross has served as County Counsel since 2022, leading a team of eight attorneys who provide legal counsel to the Board of Supervisors, county departments, and special districts. Cross earned her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law and spent 12 years in the California Attorney General's office before joining the county. She specializes in government law, environmental compliance, and public employee labor relations. She is a member of the County Counsels' Association of California.
