Ellen Sato

Ellen Sato chairs the Library Advisory Board. She is a retired head librarian who served 25 years with the San Luis Obispo County Library system. Sato holds an M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University and a B.A. in English Literature from UC Santa Cruz. She is passionate about expanding digital literacy programs, maintaining branch libraries in rural communities, and ensuring the county library system remains a vital resource for lifelong learning.
