Dorothy Blackwell

Supervisor Dorothy Blackwell represents District 5, covering the coastal communities of the county. First elected in 2020, she previously served 12 years on the Sierra Vista Unified School District board, including four years as president. Blackwell holds an M.Ed. from San Jose State University. She chairs the Education & Youth Services Committee and serves on the County Library Advisory Board and the First 5 Sierra Vista Commission. Her priorities include children's services, library access, and coastal conservation.
