William Tran

Supervisor William Tran represents District 4 and has served on the Board since 2018. An agricultural economist and fifth-generation farmer, he is a leading voice on water rights, agricultural preservation, and rural infrastructure. Tran holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from UC Davis. He chairs the Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee and serves on the San Luis Obispo County Flood Control & Water Conservation District board. He works to balance economic development with protection of the county's agricultural heritage.
