Janet Prescott

Supervisor Janet Prescott has represented District 3 since 2022. She is a family physician who practiced at Sierra Vista Medical Center for 18 years before entering public service. Dr. Prescott holds an M.D. from UCSF and completed her residency at Stanford. She chairs the Health & Human Services Committee and serves on the regional Emergency Medical Services Agency board. Her priorities include expanding mental health services, addressing homelessness, and improving access to healthcare in underserved areas of the county.
